[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Ring-necked Pheasant about to eat a little bug.

I'm not expert enough to tell what the bug is, although legs and antenna's are visible on the original shot (see detail of it in workshop).

I only spotted the bug afterwards on the computer screen. I was a nice surprise. I like the look the pheasant gives him.

I sure wish I had given more space on the left. He was keeping in motion as he was on a find-food modus. I had many much better composed pics, but this one is the one with the bug.

1000ISO.

Thank you for looking
Jean-Marie.

Hello Jean Marie
This is one of the best photo with this specie.
Excellent work!
Thanks for sharing
Razvan

It's a good shot, with great focus, maybe a little extra room on the left would have made it better,

well done
J

Hello JeanMarie,
From time to time I got pheasants in my backyard. But I was never able to make such a close photo. Colours and sharpness are fantastic. Very beautiful detailed focus on the head. Good low POV. For a better composition the left side need more space.
Regards,
Peter

Hello.
This pheasant looks very alert.
Accurate focus and amazing colour.
Greetings.

Great catch. A candid shot less bother about composition. So I should say you clicked wonderfully.

Hi JeanMarie,
thanks for your tips and advice on my recent photo. indeed youre very right there.I really do realise it is not that easy to produce a good image. Thanks - the advice and experience always do good.
As for this image, it is such a stunning view. Excellent sharpness and the colours and details are fantastic. i like the sharpness on the head and its gradual change towards the tail.
It renders a very special visual effect. I could learn a lot from this.

Regards,
Foozi
