[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
this is a inther sort of the famous swallowtail butterfly.
Well I will try to give a good note of the life of a butterfly.
It’s going from the egg, to the caterpillar, and from the caterpillar to the butterfly, and back from the butterfly, to the egg. The photograph which I do at the serial, are a several types of tropical butterflies. For two weeks I made those in a butterfly garden suffered in the Netherlands. At the images I will place I shall try to find the name if possible. But it concerns me here more even the insect butterfly. I hope that you find it also interesting. I found I it also, terrible instructive and very nice.

part 1.

There are concerning the complete world more than 100,000 types of butterflies. Butterflies belong to the group insects and such as all insects, have them a body that exists from 3 parts the head, the front part and the rear.

With its 2 antennae, 2 large eyes and role tongue is the head of the butterfly of course extremely important. The eyes of the butterfly form a half ball; as a result, they have a wide face field. It’s having two composed eyes, which exist from approximately 6000 Lenses. These eyes can observe movements very sharply.

The 2 antennae are used to keep the balance during flying and for observing fragrance substances. They are used to trace flowers and in exchange of a nice meal nectar and the butterflies bring pollen of one flower to the other. They carry the sense of good smell. By moths, night butterflies, this organ is very sharp. At day butterflies it less has been strongly developed. Antennae play also a role at finding a partner: female butterfly spread a fragrance substance, with which they lure a male. Most of the types have butterflies long, thin antennae.

Butterflies have none caustic or chewing mouth parts, in place of it they take a role tongue which them uses to absorb liquid food. The role tongue exists from a long thin tube which has been closed down and partially hid, if the butterflies do not eat. Many butterflies feed themselves when they sit on a flower.

To the front part are the wings and the legs stock. A butterfly has 6 legs and 4 wings, where the front wings are larger than the behind wings. The wings are covert with sheet complete small coloured scales that overlap each other as tiles. These coloured scales ensure the patterns on the wings. Day butterflies have frequently striking coloured wings. The most striking characteristic of the rear is that it is segmented. Butterflies have no lungs. They breathe by are pipes, 2 couples end up on the front part, 6 up to 8 couples end up on the rear.

I hope you like the shot.

Hoi Jaap,
Goed werk werk Jaap.
Goed weekend,

A rushed weekend critique I'm afraid,

Jaap, I've never seen such a moment.

This is a very nice photo.

Excellent pov, composition and colors. Beautiful and well saturated colors; the brownish bg highlights the butterflies.

A beautiful arrest, the position of the butterflies makes of your photo a magnificent composition. Details, colours, neatness of the image, all these qualities and much more are to be noted. Great shot!

Very good, Jaap! These are beautiful ones, with fantastic colors. There's just a bit motion blur on the lft one's body, but understandable at 1/60. Otherwise, very good POV and DOF on the whole subject. A very interesting shot.
