Hind legs are really thick, Laurens.
As usual, a fantastic macro.
I'm also intrigued by that hole in the leaf.
Thanks.

Hi Lou,
Wat een typische wesp met vreemde poten. Vreemde kleur ook. Schitterende macro in prima kwaliteit weer.

Groete.

Hello Laurens,
Nice to see some new images from you. The contrast is superb. Perfect photo taken from a excellent POV. I never meet it in my country....
Thanks for sharing!
Marius.

Hello Lou,
Looks like a normal wasp; however, it carries unusual appendages.
Its colours too are not the norm.
GREAT macro.
Wonder how that hole on the leaf came about? Looks burnt.
The W/Sed version too is SUPERB!!!
Truly,
Mario from Canada.

Hello Lou- I think, it's not an easy task to keep in focus on full body in such case of tiny species macro. Well captured this Beautiful Wasp, mainly attractive for its "Very Thick Legs". Natural colour and sharpness. Thanks for sharing. Regards- Srikumar

Hello Lou,
Indeed a gorgeous specimen which is shown in exceptional detail and beautiful natural colors. I have never seen a wasp quite like this particular specimen before. As you already mentioned it has very thick legs which remind me somewhat of the pollen basket or corbicula that a honey bee has. Well done!!
