the heron is a well-known bird in holland you can see him every where,in parks,near houses en also in the centre.i made this shot in the park,he was just standing there and keeping an eye on everything. |

The details of the heron are very good, the composition is good. Nice lights.

Sharp detailed image, scanned image looks a little grainy, maybe something like Neat Image (www.neatimage.com) could help you there. Not too sure about the vignetting either, but the bird is good, as is the saturated (Velvia?) colour
Nice shot of the bird, looks like good evening light.
the coener look as thought the lens hood is getting in the way, though that could be cloned out.
some more details about the film used and details of the scanning and post production would be usefull.
