Hallo Niek
It is an absolute wonderful view and awesome scenery. You have captured it beautifully and I thank you for bringing a bit of another country and another piece of beautiful nature into my house, 1000's of kilometres away. It is an astonishing sight, which has a lot of serenity that surrounds it. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.

Way Cool, Niek! I have to wonder how many trial shots you took to arrive at 80 seconds. I like that filter...for seascapes. Otherwise there seems always to be some foliage that would wiggle too much. f/16 was perfect! You captured the essence of Norway with this image. Bravo

Hello Niek
I truly love your recent landscapes and this one is no exception. Brilliant color gamut, fantastic detail everywhere even at the darkest parts of the shadows...bravo! 5D Mark II is currently the champion for this kind of photography. Amazing depth of field and perspective ! In my workshop I am presenting you a version of your image which can be evaluated as an extreme alternative. Here I used the shadow/highlights and replace color tools in order to achieve that moderate balance between highlights and shadows. Your image is a perfect base for some post processing! Love it!

Hallo Niek,
Groet,
Peter

Hello Niek,
The composition is well planned and skillfully done!
Good balance between foreground and background, and between the sea leads my eyes through the scene...
The snowy summits draw attention, it is late April but still with a touch of winter..!

I wasn't going to let this one go, either :)
The idea to use a full ND here definitely was original and you've come away with a very neat shot! The longer exposure makes the water seem more tranquil, thus enhancing the serenity given by the blue sky and snowy mountains in the distance. I also like the movement caught in the fluffy clouds...surely adds a little extra something :)
Again, the composition stands out from the start, with some strong geometric shapes sketched in the foreground (almost like two successive arrows pointing towards the mountains) and the rule of thirds applied nicely to the placement of the horizon.
Overall, another stunning landscape, my friend!
Cheers and TFS
Horia
PS: I also noticed that you've upgraded to a nice, new and big frame camera...NICE!!!:))
