When waking up this morning it was a white world again,snow had fallen this night and it still snows slightly with a lot of wind,I guess it will be a lazy Sunday today,picture has been made on our Svalbard trip last seaso,we had (luckely) lots of nice encounters with the polar bear,hope you like this one,thanks for watching and your comments.

Hallo Paul
Yes, I like this image a lot. We recently bought a BBC DVD series called "Planet Earth as you have never seen it before." and every time we watch it I think about the images you have posted in the past about the Polar Bears doings and actions in the snow. They are remarkable animals and these DVD's proofs just that. This is a lovely image, and the moment captured of this bear lying on the snow is super. You have captured the expression on its face so well. You are very fortunate to have the opportunity to capture these animals. I think is must be awesome to see them in real life. Thanks for sharing these amazing creatures with us. I for one appreciate it very much.

Hi Paul.
It is funny scene and very natural shot. I think only few from us has such nice opportunity to photograph these dangerous but attractive animal in a wild. Nice picture with excellent exposure, right DOF and perfect sharpness/details. My warm greetings and TFS.

Wonderful, You managed the whites well, real wild life photo of a real wild anamil, I don't even open zoo captured photos.

This is supurb. I think it was you that showed the cub jumping ice burgs. Keep shooting and sharing.

Hoi Paul,
Het lijkt erop of dat deze ijsbeer kribbel heeft op z'n rug waar hij nét niet bij kan. Mooie compo, scherpte en sfeer, het moet wel een berekoud avontuur geweest zijn.
