|I saw it only once and it was in Turkey.(the 4th record for the country) I even remember the date, 15th November 2005. Since then, app. 9 years, i have waited for this beauty to meet again. At Norvegian fjords, my patience was rewarded by a family of 3 birds. Here is the male. BEAUTIFUL!|
Common Redpoll - Carduelis flammea - Huş isketesi(Its Turkish means Birch linnet)

Hi Emin, my neighbour in the gallery,
Beautiful shot taken from an attractive point of view. Fantastic composition, colors, pose, and the flashlight adds something extra to the image. Awesome color contrast between the plumage and the sky. Congratulations for both the photo and the record. Is it so rare species in Turkey? In my home country, Hungary (I'm living in Ireland, but I'm Hungarian) it's a common winter migrant.
Best regards, László
