Hi Pablo, this is a very well composed shot of this buttercup with the wasp. You have just the right angle to show us the interior of the flower, and the wasp covered in the yellow pollen. The lighting is very good with excellent exposure on the flower, but a darker contrast around and behind the plant. Pulling the yellow into the frame is a nice touch.

Hello Pablo,
Beautiful capture of a buttercup flower visited by a sawfly. This is nice and sharp and the BG makes it look like an oil painting.
It would also look great without it but the sawfly adds an extra touch. I don't know the species but sawflies lay their eggs by using a 'saw' at the tip of the abdomen to open the leaf up put the eggs into the incision. They are a type of wasp.

My first impression- This is a lovely tender shot.
The way the flower stem is bending it's like it is presenting itself to the insect. And the insect accepts and the symbiosis
of life continues on.
The blurred dark BG is very nice. Perhaps just a bit more DOF to bring all the petals into focus may be helpful.

Hi Pablo,
In Australia we buy these Ranunculus as seedlings and plant them in the garden and nurture them. Hard to believe they could possibly be a weed. You image is wonderful and capturing the insect was an added bonus. I like your choice of border and the background colour is superb as it makes the Buttercup stand out so well.

I was looking for an image I saw a while ago and came across this beautiful image in your gallery. I really like this image. What a delightful and sunny view. To me yellow always creates the feeling of cheerfulness and a sunny atmosphere. This is exactly what I see looking at this image. The flower itself is vivid and creates a feeling of spring in the air, and I am sure it is filled with pollen dust and that is why this insect is really having a ball of a time. The details of both the flower and the insect are just stunning and I cannot say one is better than the other. I like the way you fit the flower in the frame, makes the details more closely to observe and appreciate. Thanks for sharing.
