Norwegian wood

[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This shot was taken some years ago on a trip around Norway. These were growing in some woodland by the side of the road by a lake near the village of Byglandsfjord (not sure of spelling). Would appreciate if anyone could tell me the name of this fungi. The image quality has been lost due to the fact that it had to be scanned in from an album and the scanner used is fairly old. I have tried to improve the contrast and sharpness whilst trying to keep to the natural colours of the original shot as much as possible. |

Hi Joy
In my opinion is Amarita muscaria, commonly known as the fly agaric,is a poisonous and psychoactive basidiomycete fungus, one of many in the genus Amanita.
Great shot and wonderful details and colors.
