[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It is time to think of scheduling a next photography trip. It has almost been a year ago when I made this photo and it was during my last photography trip. Since then I haven't touched my camera that much and focus has been on work and business trips apart from a week of lazy vacation in Thailand.

Although I mostly avoid taking photos with clear blue skies, sometimes you have to step away from these self created restrictions and make the photo. At least you have an option to create a composition where the sky is not the main part of the photo. Hey, its the reflection of the sky that you see mostly.

This is one of those areas where the Lofoten are famous for: Mountains starting out of the ocean.

Niek, this is masterful. A photo trip with you would be very useful, because you offer a lot to learn for all of us about landscape photography. I do not vivisect the image how pleasant the composition is, how good the colors are etc. - I simply mark you as one of my favorite photographers. I think it tells my opinion about the photo in question, your photos generally, and about your personality.

A most beautiful picture from your Norway trip. Very luminous shot showing breathtaking landscape. I love the north and I'm never bored to look at this kind of landscape. Unfortunately my husband loves the south ..

Hi Niek.
It is a sad that you take camera very seldom. I like the picture so much as well as clean deep blue sky. It is a wonderful canvas for impressive mountains which are crisp sharp and reproduced with amazing details. Mirror reflections are as fine as original :). My compliments and TFS.

such a powerful view that immediately attract the eyes. The strong blue sky is such an amazing capture. The reflection really pushes the composition into a splendid one. Excellent clarity and sharpness that offers a wonderful feast to the eyes.
