[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken on 8th of December somewhere from Kasprowy Wierch (Poland). You can see Krywan peak (2494m)- the national peak of Slovakia.
We have spent three days in Zakopane between 7th and 9th of December (Zakopane is known as a capital of Polish mountains). There were very cold - in the mountain between -15 and -20C degrees. But apart from cold it was beautiful. First snow, beautiful views, not many people.
On Friday we had 10 hours trek: started from Siwa Polana, went through Polana Chocholowska, Grzes (1653m), Rakon (1879m), Wolowiec (2064m). The way back, the same. We had to use all the winter equipment.
On Saturday we were only on Kasprowy Wierch (1987m) using cable car.
On Sunday we started from Krupowki in Zakopane, went near Wielka Krokiew, Dolina Bialego, Sarnia Skala (1377m), Dolina Strazyska, Dolina ku Dziurze and again Zakopane.
Thanks for visiting.

Hi Maciej,
another wonderful winter landscape from your exciting tours !
Well composed , beutiful snowy white !
What always amazes me is the similarity of the toponymy in Polish to Serbian language !
Best regards !

Hello Maciek.
I have never but that high up in the snow but it must be some exhilarating experience. Lovely tiers with traces of subdued colors of the sky.
Thanks and have a nice day.

Hello Maciej,
As usual a top quality image with a superb and interesting landscape. A very nice image. Amazing details and splendid natural colors. Incredible clarity of the snowy peaks.
Thanks for sharing!
Marius.

Great detail in this one. I like the composition because there seems to be enough room to breathe. Good job on the exposure to keep detail throughout the range, too.
