[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken on 7th of December 2012. This is a view of Chocholowska Valley.
We have spent three days in Zakopane between 7th and 9th of December(Zakopane is known as a capital of Polish mountains). There were very cold - in the mountain between -15 and -20C degrees. But apart from cold it was beautiful. First snow, beautiful views, not many people.
On Friday we had 10 hours trek: started from Siwa Polana, went through Polana Chocholowska, Grzes (1653m), Rakon (1879m), Wolowiec (2064m). The way back, the same. We had to use all the winter equipment.
On Saturday we were only on Kasprowy Wierch (1987m) using cable car.
On Sunday we started from Krupowki in Zakopane, went near Wielka Krokiew, Dolina Bialego, Sarnia Skala (1377m), Dolina Strazyska, Dolina ku Dziurze and again Zakopane.

Hello Maciek,
A great winter mountain scene perfectly framed by the spruces on either side. The sun shine at the top of the round peak is great but it looks cold!
Thanks and best regards,

TFS regards Bill.

Hello Maciej
Beautiful winter scenery with very good composition and wonderful atmosphere.

Hello Maciek,a real winter scene with atmosphere,I can almost feel the chill.
The snow laden branches make a very suitable frame.
Regards Les.

Hello Maciej

This rather ordinary single snow covered mountain with the sky and clouds behind really needed the two trees on the edges to make the composition work. So well done on that count.

Hello Maciek,
Beautiful landscape having nice clarity and lovely natural colours.
Best regards,
