|I have always photographed butterflies in nature, and I had never been in a butterfly house, which are some kind of zoo where you can see many rare species. I was shocked by the visit of the butterfly house in Krakow. A real lager. A large room located on the first floor of a building in the center, where the butterflies have no chance to feed and remain glued to the walls. Even worse, see how they are treated and how children reduce them. I am speechless, I hope that this place will be closed as soon as possible and I am sorry to have paid the entrance that has contributed to its maintenance. In the pictures you can see how the wings are damaged, while the butterfly in the lower right corner was actually dead.|

Thank you very much for posting this useful collage and note. Shocking. I've never been in a butterfly park before, and the images I've seen from there were always lovely, so I couldn't even imagine this may happen at all. The green smiley is for you, for posting these images and info, not for the situation.
Kind regards from Ireland, László

Surprise for me that there is a house where these are preserved, you have made nice collage and also helpful NOTE, there I have desire to visit such place.
Yes it is very sad. In our country photography also prohibited.
It is very sad to see rare species of butterflies that are killed slowly ..... slowly.
I think they do not have an animal welfare institution in Poland.
It is a document image that is good to be presented.
great to post this on treknature
