What a colorful moth.
I like its distinct dots of different colors.
The black in the wings really bring out their richness.
I also really like the BG made by the plant.

Hi Michal,
strong signal of presence, indeed - both from the tiger moth, and from you!
I admire the deep coloration of strong summer light in the whole scene. The moth seems to glow out of itself. I like the colours and structures of fern that stand in aesthetically very pleasing contrast to the insect. Technically and artistically very pleasing presentation.
Due to heavy loads of work these days I have been absent for quite a while here, too, and due to my recent timetable I am still not in a position to look into TN, write critiques, and send contributions as often as I would love to. Whatever - good to be in again, and to meet with you again.

Hi Michal,
I was impressed by the insect life in poland. I saw many species I had not seen before. I missed this one: beautiful and well captured!
Especially the colours combination is special. The picture is a bit dark on the head, but I suppose an expert could fix that in photoshop.

Witam pana!
No wreszcie! Juz myslalem, ze sie przed wakacjami na TN nie pojawisz ;> A tu prosze, nie dosc, ze jednak sie zjawil to jeszcze z tak kolorowa cma :)
Kompozycja, detale i kolorystyka super, ale zgadzams z Jacobem, ze troche za ciemno wyszlo w okolicy glowy motyla. Za to super, ze paproc od lampy nie zostala "przepalona", co z zieleninami niestety czasem sie dzieje :)

Hi Michal,
Splendid shot of this beautiful moth. Superb colour tones and patterns on its wings. Very neat and sharp details and fine focus. Nice use of flash and the green leaf as BG works well here and add a soothing tone to the shot. I like your POV and the diagonal placement. Very nicely composed. Kudos.

I love this moth, it is so beautiful ! The spots of different colors look great, on the black wings. I also like the contrast between the colors of the moth and the green color of the BG. Excellent details, wonderful composition and POV, and excellent use of your flash. very well done !

Glad your back! This is an excellent macro shot. The colors and detail in the mmoth are beautiful. A great fill flash exposure. Nice sharp detail, and I reall like the fern leaf(or what ever it is) as a backround.

I too was away for several weeks and am now back and trying to get caught up with TN. Of course I still remember you!

This is an amazingly sharp image Michal. He is set off so nicely by the pattern of the green leaf. The richness of the colors is wonderful.
