Erg mooie foto van deze vlinder. Scherpte en kleuren zijn magnifiek. De diepte in de foto is perfect. De compositie is onevenwichtig t.o.v. de vlinder, maar dat is de charme van deze foto.

thank you for posting this beautiful picture of silvicola. I have observed many different butterfly species in nature. However, I did not meet silvicola up to now. B yyour picture, I get a nice impression of that species.

You've really got an excellent shot of the Northern Studded Skipper here. I got several shots of this one up north last summer of which I may post one but they're not nearly as good as this one! I like its pose on the leaf and against the soft green background.
Great sharpness and fine natural colours too.
