Hi Greg. Sorry about the bad weather you have had today. it maybe better on sunday, It Some tmes pays to look back at your pictures when you can find ones like this. I do think i have seen something like this,a leaf hopper, it was a very tiny one and i thought it to be a nymph, also it was tad more colourful.
Like the colour tones and the details in texture presented here.This must have been quite a sunny day.

nice details considering the size of the insect.
Light was obviously difficult,
in particular with respect to the more or less uniform colouration of the leafhopper.
However, you achieved an admirable result showing even the underside of the insect very clearly and differentiated.

A marvelous macro shot of this strange -at leasst for me:)- resembling cicadellids in front body part with great sharpnes and details. Excellent POV and composition too. Notes are perfect as usual.

Great use of lighting. always nice to have superb archives...With snowy weather almost upon us...well first autumn...unm...do you do autumn?:-)These creatures you picture here are definitely summer insects...and some can be sort of noisy as well...We had them in Ohio, but none in the wilderness..thanks for the reminder!
