Nicely capture macro, Ania. I love the details, tight composition, and the diagonal you have here. Nice lighting, too. I also like knowing that she's eating aphids -- I hate aphids!

Outstanding shot of this damselfly with a catch. Immaculate sharpness, details and colours and I like the way you have handled the natural lighting. Funny bend of the abdomen too. Excellent DOF, POV and the diagonal composition looks classic.

Calkime niezle marko z typowo jesiennymi kolorami. Dobry detal i ciekawy moment. Swoja droga chyba pierwszy raz widze wazke z tak dziwnie "przelamanym" odwlokiem ;)

Hej,
Ladna kompozycja. Mozna bylo jeszcze troche ciasniej skadrowac, zeby wazka byla jeszcze wieksza i zeby lepiej bylo widac co je ale i tak jest fajnie.

Hi Ania,
I missed this wonderful picture when you posted it, so I am happy to be looking at it now. It is a very beautiful macro image. The curved blade of grass on which the damselfly sits is like a green rainbow. Its curvature somehow matches with the curvature of the subject. The precision and sharpness in this picture are truly wonderful and the colours too are very attractive.
