The Spotted Sulphur (Emmelia trabealis) is a moth of the family Noctuidae with a wing span of between 18 and 20 mm distributed across the Palaearctic zone in treeless areas such as meadows and steppes. Two generations are produced flying from May to June and the second from July to August.

Hello Alina,

You have made a very good photo ofthis moth. The image is rasor sharp showing in great details the pattern of the wings. Colors also are veri well saturated and vivid. There is a good contrast between the colors of the insect and the background.

This Moth has very colourful wings, Alina.
The picture has been taken from a very good point of view from which we see all its features including the eye.
