Forgive me, but I couldn't resist :-) I know this picture is maybe against TOS, but it looks quite interesting IMHO. This is Colias sp. taken this morning in Botanic Garden. It was very good day - I took many photos of hoverflies, robberflies and butterflies. Again I saw many miracles of mother nature and some action, too :-) Just enjoy!

Wonderful and vivid colors and excellent details too

Hello Grzegorz,
Unusual on TN, but I like the PP with partial desaturation. The light seems to come from the flower... Impressive! Best regards,
Catherine

Hello Greg,
An interesting experiment!
The orange of the flower is partially reflected in the yellow of the Clouded yellow Butterfly and I must say the yellows and orange colours are emphasisesd by removing the greens of the BG but....
Have a good week,
Ivan

Hi Grzeg,

Just came home from vacation. Absolutely beautiful presentation, I like this kind of partial desaturation, but yes, You're right, it's against ToU, I think. A pity. Nice composition and great PP work. Congrats and tfs.

Best regards, Wladyslaw (sorry, out of smileys)

excellent artistic idea, wonderful capture and pp-work with a cool mix of orange and grey. hope it can stay on TN.
superb job & best wishes, thor.

Ciao Greg, fantastic orange on orange, splendid sharpness, fine details and wonderful colors, very well done, ciao Silvio

Hello Greg,
Wonderful experiment. The desaturation of the greens (?) works very well here. Great contrasts. Good sharpness, details and composition.
Regards,
Peter

I see nothing intrisically wrong with this sort of interpretation, as long as it is explained, and I have done the same occasionally, purely for "artistic" effect. In this case, the butterfly and flower have become a single blaze of orange, which is quite dazzling. It would have been nice to see the original as a workshop, so that viewers could see the difference.
Best wishes, Nigel.

Hejka!
Widze, ze tym razem prezentacja czarno-bialo-zolta ;) Niezla fotka, ostra, z dobrym detalem i kompozycja :)
Pozdrawiam serdecznie,
Radek

Hi Greg, what a magic light inside this pic! Surely one of the best Colias never seen on TN.This beautiful backgliht and the orange reflection on the wings are fantastic! Very wonderful way to show one of the most spectacular species living in Europe.Today 2 points are not enough,my great compliments,LUCIANO

hello Grzegorz
super colored composition with veru good sharpness and good details
greeting lou

Czesc Grzesiu
Nie takie "only" bo to jest Colias crocea, gatunek migrujacy ktory przylatuje do nas z poludnia, w dodatku nie taki latwy do sfotografowania. Podoba mi sie zestawienie zolci, pomaranczu i szarosci
Pozdrawiam
Krzysiek

hello Greg!
capture with a high content of difficulties,
critical due to the coloration and the management of the light ... you have solved both parameters with a good visual result...compliments!!!
