Hi
Today a different POV of Small Copper that I've presented yesterday (http://www.treknature.com/viewphotos.php?l=3&p=216632).
And this time more about the species.
Small Copper (Lycaena phlaeas) (Czerwończyk żarek in Polish)
Family Lycaenidae
This species is very common in Europe and NW Africa below 2400 m.
It has two generation in Northern Europe and three in South Europe and North Africa.
Larvaes feed on Rumex spp. and less commonly on Polygonum spp.

Ladne ujecie czerwonczyka, dobrze widac skrzydelka i oczy. Musialas spotkac jakiegos nerwusa - z tego co zaobserwowalem, te motyle sa bardzo terytorialne i zawsze wracaja w to samo miejsce. Kolo mnie bylo ich pelno tego lata :-)
