[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Sandwich Tern is a seabird of the tern family Sternidae.
It is a medium-large tern with grey upperparts, white underparts, a yellow-tipped black bill and a shaggy black crest which becomes less extensive in winter with a white crown.

Like all Thalasseus terns, the Sandwich Tern feeds by plunge diving for fish, usually in marine environments, and the offering of fish by the male to the female is part of the courtship display.

Hi Jacek. Very good timing in this inflight picture of the Tern . WEll done for getting both in focus with fine detail and natural looking colours. They stand out well from the OOF BG. TFS.

Wow that's very nice! I love the expressions!

Czesc Jacek!

Kolejne fantastyczne zdjecie! Perfekcyjna jakosc i ostrosc. Swietny moment zlapany, duzo akcji a do tego idealna kompozycja. Zazdroszcze Ci tylu spotkan z fajnymi ptakami. A 100 Canona wyprobuj przy okazji - makro nie jest wcale takie trudne - musi byc tylko duzo slonca i malo wiatru :-)

Ciao Jacek, nice family scene, beautiful composition with wonderful natural colors, fine details and splendid sharpness, very well done my friend, ciao Silvio

What a "tender" and loving presentation.
Loved the details on the baby; great difference between the parent and youngster.
Mario from Canada with greetings.
