[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a summit of Maly Kozi Wierch (2228m). It was taken on Saturday on the Eagle's Path, during my solo trek through Polish Tatras. The weather was bad. It was raining for about half of my trek, the stones were wet and slippery. Over 1800 - 1900m I was whole time in the clouds, so visibility was poor. But it was a really exciting experience - climbing solo (no friends and other tourists at all !! - I was really alone) on the slippery stones with poor visibility on the most dangerous and difficult trail in Tatras(Eagle's Path). But I was very careful. I think this photo can show an atmosphere of experience in mountains.
About this trek. It took me about 8 hours. I started from Kuznice (about 1000m), went throungh Przelecz miedzy Kopami (pass - 1499m), Czarny Staw Gasienicowy (1624m), Zawrat (pass - 2158m - this is beginning of Eagle's Path), Maly Kozi Wierch (2228m), Zmarzla Przelecz (pass - 2126m), under the summit of Zamarla Turnia (2179m), Kozia Przelecz (pass - 2137m - here I left Eagle's Path), than Zmarzly Staw (lake - 1788m), and again Czarny Staw Gasienicowy, Przelecz miedzy Kopami and Kuznice.
Thanks for visiting.

amazing shot. well done.

Hallo Maciek
This surely looks very cold and I am sure the view while hiking is not as good as you also mention in your note. Rather you than me going out in those conditions, but I am thankful that you are brave enough to endure such weather conditions as you always come back with photographs to spoil us in the comfort of our own homes. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.

This is a very lonely trail and somewhat intimidating by virtue of that touch of fog around it, Maciek. You must be careful during your solo treks in such areas.
The atmosphere in this picture with limited view is very unique. However, there is nothing sinister about it. As a matter of fact, I would love to walk on this trail.

Hello Maciej,
Splendid image showing how nature can put obstacles in our path. The atmosphere in your images is great. Thank you.

Hello Maciek,
This is an excellent capture with such fine details, composition & presentation. Great work, effort & TFS. Best wishes!

Gorgeous scene. You definitely found a way to use the mist to your advantage. The fog creates a very nice contrasting background and makes for an exaggerated atmospheric perspective that causes the path to look like it stretches almost infinitely into the distance.
