|In the Augustow Forest there are plenty mushrooms but the giant mushrooms grew on the side of the road, about two meters from the asphalt. I do not know what kind of fungus. He was about 20 cm in diameter and very thick very short stem.|

Very well captured picture with lots of detail.
nice colour and interesting Pov.
Thanks for your kind words on my recent picture, Lucja.
This is a massive Fungus growing low on the ground and covered by strands of grasses.
The picture looks impressive by virtue of the habitat it depicts for this kind of fungal growth.
Ciao Lucja, great view of lovely mushroom, splendid light and wonderful natural colors, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio

Mushrooms are always interesting to view and can be a real challenge to photograph at times. You have done a fine job of photographing this particular specimen which seems to be hidden somewhat under the blades of grass.
It is very difficult to correctly identify many types of fungi just from a photo, usually a spore sample must be taken. I have picked fall mushrooms many times for the table, and can attest to how tasty they can be. I am extremely careful to collect only those that I am very familiar with.
