I like the muted colours and light and the pensive pose, giving the viewer the feeling of a cold calm winter day. The space to the left leaves the bird some breathing space. The natural perch with the snow makes us understand why the bird has frost on its front.
As we usually read from left to right, it may be worth flipping the photo horizontally so that the bird looks to the right instead. Just a suggestion.
