Still cold, still white around. Hard to believe that such delicate creatures like damselfly on my photo can live in this place. But for about three-four months, when heat will strike, it will be hard to believe that everything was white and frozen. I like changing of seasons ;-) By the way, I read some article about start of new Ice Age. Brrrrrr.....

Very good Grzegorz!
Incredible how did you find this litle creature!
In Portugal we are in winter too, spring arrives next month, but I didn't see any kind of odonatas yet.
Excellent on details!
Very good POV and BG!
TFS!

Nice capture Grzegorz. There is a little lack of contrast which could easily be enhanced in PS. Sharpness looks great as well as the composition.

Hi Greg!
I'm tired of echos and ready for the "real deal"...;-( Even so, this is a beautiful picture, beautifully captured and composed!
Very nice! And, well done!
Thanks,
Dave

Nice damselfly Greg. Very good composition, details and BG.

Hi Greg,
It's a beauty! Flawless composition and framing. The exposure is excellent with the vivid colors and sharp detail. OOF backround looks great and makes it stand out very well.

Hi Greg, good shot. Only around 2.5 months and we will begin to see these again. I like the composition and the detials are good. It's a little dark for my taste but I know you like them like that.

Well done

Great capture Greg. Composed very well with excellent DOF, POV and sharpness. Perhaps a bit lighter. I did a WS with the free neat image program I downloaded from Mogens profile page, to address the BG..
Well done.

Lovely shot Greg!
Maybe slightly too dark, but it seems you really like such moods ;)
Great details and superb green BG.
I like it!

Hello Grzegorz,

Hi Greg, a super summer insect shot from you. He is nice and sharp, so very clear to see. I would like to see him a bit brighter, but still better than just white snow outside for you. TFS...
Janice

Hi Greg,

Lovely summer shot to feel myself better!
So you have classic white days ;) There is also snow in Istanbul these days. Not as cold as Lodz, but Istanbul is also cold...

Hello Grzegorz
It is a beautiful picture, beautifully colors and well composed.
It has a good BG but needs to be clean a bit of the digital noise.
TFS!!!!

Hi Greg,
I'm still very busy, so have no time for a longer visit to TN.
Very good capture, and as always good details, colours, sharpness and composition.
Thanks for posting, have a great week.
I hope it warms up for you very soon.

I like very much you canon, but I also like very much the atmosphere that your olympus gives to the macro shots. Excellent DOF, details colours and composition for my taste.
Thanks for sharing.
PD: Google earth was Gerhard´s idea :)

Nice shot, solid detail, especially in the wings.

Greg

I would call it the preview of the summer to come.
Even still cold here too, the winter has its days numbered. Daylight is visible growing and no more of those siberian temperatures.

Regards, Petru

Hi Greg,
soon, soon my frind, we be able to catch new damsel- and butterflies.
The composition and POV are good. Nice colours and very good details.
Very well done.

I think that we are lucky to have winter. Summer is more appreciated when it arrives... but I could live without it ;-)
Razorsharp shot, Greg.
Thank you.
