That's very nice, looks like some strange hedgehog ! :-)) It's a very interesting subject, I have never seen this before. You have excellent details and wonderful colors on your shot. The composition, the POV and the DOF are very beautiful too. very well done !

very unusual fungi. Very nice and clear image,nice colors and light especialy at f/9.5. Maybe at f/4.0 all the green background would have been blured. Congratulations!

Great focus and DOF here. the exposure is spot on and I like the composition.

I came across something similar yesterday, only in black.

Hello Robert,
I like many of your shots but this one is striking with mould (Spinellus fusiger)on its cap. Excellent colours, very sharp and nice composition. Do you know the names of the many fungi you've pictured in Polish? If so can you please enter them?
