Hi Robert,
Very unique and interesting fungus, never seen this species before. The shape is resembled palm of hand with 4 fingers. How big it is?

Hello Robert,
Very nice sharp shot of this weird Xylaria, a species that's rare in Sweden. I believe it grows on Sycamore?

Hi Robert

WOW! This really is a very interesting..."thing" :))
Looks like a hand...??
Excellent and unique shot! I really like the POV and the detaisl, the lovely colors and the contrast between it and the very beautiful moss from all around.
Very well done!

Bravo, TFS and have a great weekend

Seen a lot of Xylarias, but never of this kind, and I know there live here too :(
As usual a very nice and clear shot, just how I like them
Regards, Felipe.
PD: The worm looks motion blured :D

This looks like a piece of modern sculpture to me, Robert.
Very strange looking mushroom, indeed.
Thanks for sharing this unique image.

Wooooow ! What a strange species, incredible shape... You are very lucky to find this kind of mushroom. The worm is nice bonus. Your photo is wonderful. Exposure, colors, sharpness and DOF are very good.
The note is a bit small ;-)
Congratulations my friend and TFS.
