(Oriolus oriolus) - male

After a few days waiting for a reasonable picture of the male I think I have got.The male is much more suspicious than the female which made it more difficult to capture.

This picture is also a dedication to Anna and Ram and all the Friends who spend his time with me,for your words of encouragement and recognition.

Thank You.

Hello Jose,
exceptional photography, from the cover!
A catch that I envy you and have years to search.
Congratulations, thanks for sharing and Good August
Hello Vanni

Hi, Jose
This is a very difficult species to "shoot" and is usually concealed amongst the foliage of the trees, so this is a great achievement - particularly when shooting at a focal length of 1000mm! The focus is precise, and the catchlight in the eye is perfect.
Might I suggest a slightly different post-processing adjustment to bring out some shadow detail via a workshop?
Best wishes, Nigel.

Hello Jose,

Great capture of this colorful oriole immersed in shadowlight. Strong, pleasing contrast between the darkness & brilliant yellow plumage hue. Impressive focus & a choice pov!

Hello Jose,
Nice to see this Golden Oriole so close. It sits in beautiful light, just on the right place. With the shadows and highlights the sharpness can be better a little bit. Attractive pose with eye contact and a fine composition.

thenks greeting lou

Hello Jose,
At many species of birds the males are more suspicious than the females. This is a wonderful image with a colorful species of birds. The yellow color of this bird is amazing.....In my country generally the colors of the birds are grey mixed with black in white to be more camouflaged to the ground! A few species are colorful.....

Hi Jose,
nice bird. Very good use of light. Excellent colours. Interesting pose of the bird.
Thanks for sharing,
