Few weeks ago I took this pic of the Common Kestrel.
Closer then I would like to don't cut the wings but close enough to see all the details.

Hope You like it...

Photo taken from the car...

This species are very territorial and this one was close to the nest.

Hello Jose,
A splendid catch in flight of a wonderful bird.....Excellent details and very good focus despite that the bird is in flight. It is a very shy bird in my region and difficult to approach. Thanks for sharing!
Marius.

Ciao Jose, great capture of lovely inflight rapax, fine details, wonderful natural colors and splenddi sharpness, very well done, my friend, ciao Silvio

Hello Jose

Great close-up shot of the Common Kestrel
so close with excellent details of its wings
& with the POV obtaining its eye-contact,
and if the wings were not cut the photo
would be even greater, TFS

Bom dia Jose,
Fantastic close up of this Common Kestrel in a superb composition, fantastic sharpness and beautiful natural colours. The eye contact is a big bonus.
Regards,
Peter

Dr. Jose Diogo,
Great eye contact.
The 500mm lens + the Extender ... CONGRATULATIONS. You know how to use them to the maximum.
A higher ISO could have, possibly, enlightened this flight a bit more; so, I felt encouraged to W/S it.
Hope you don't mind.
OVER ALL 10/10 despite the low light on the flight feathers.
Best regards,
Mario in Canada.
