|I never saw a grasshopper like this before... I was shoting some flowers when I look to some stones and I saw this fat brown grasshoper, for me he looked like camouflaged and I found his eyes very weird, like petrified stone. I had to do some gymnastics to shot him, but I still couldn't get him on focus :(|

great picture of this well discoverd specimen. It appears to be of the same material as the surrounding rocks. In spite of its camouflage, the details of the hopper are excellently seen due to right focus and to high sharpness.

Great example of insect camouflage! I also like sharpness, DOF and colours of this Orthoptera larva.
