[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [Portuguese]
The Common Waxbill is often noted for its distinctive call. When the viewer looking for the source of sound, often sees a number of "dots" to pass at high speed. this tiny bird, originally from Africa, was one of the first non-native bird species to establish a wild population of birds Portugal. Small granívora much smaller than a sparrow. It can be easily recognized by the thick bright red beak, which is the feature that draws the most attention. Also the mask, that extends behind the eye is bright red tone. The rest of the plumage is dominated by the brown upper and the wings, while the belly has red tones.

Joao, This is a pretty picture of a pretty bird. It is sharp and well defined. If you could control it I would like the background to be just a little lighter. I do like the POV.
