Green Hairstreak

The Green Hairstreak, Callophrys rubi, is a butterfly in the family Lycaenidae.
Callophrys rubi is found in Europe, North Africa, Russia, Asia Minor, Siberia, Amurland, Baluchistan and Chitral. The larva is recorded as feeding on Vaccinium myrtillus, Vaccinum uliginosum, Betula, Rubus idaeus, Vicia cracca, Trifolium medium, Calluna vulgaris, Frangula, Rhamnus, Ribes, Spiraea, Caragana, Chamaecytisus, Hedysarum, Genista, Trifolium and Hippophae rhamnoides in different parts of its range.

Una foto muy buena Luis! Me encanta la silueta y perfil que tiene esta bella mariposa, está bien enfocada y tiene un fondo genial que no distrae y ayuda a exaltar a la mariposa. La ramita de abajo no se si distrae o compensa habría que probarlo cortando y borrando la ramita, pero entonces sería otra foto. Repito, la pose con sus patitas tipo caballito, alas subidas, cabeza y antenas elevadas hacen que tenga uno de los perfiles mas bonitos que yo recuerdo haber visto. Mi más enhorabuena. Un saludo.
