When I first looked at the photograph I wondered what the subject was. In my opinion there is far too much rock in the photograph and the eye was not led to the flowers.I found my self looking for what was in th ephoto other than rock.The flowers seem insignificant.
Next time try to make the flower more of the focal point of your shot. It would have made a positive difference if the flowers were not so close to the border of the frame.
Also it appears that you used the rocks in the centre of the photo as your focus point and this has caused the flowers to be out of focus.
Nice attempt. Try again. Look forward to seeing more.
