|Egrets flying southward, in formation. I couldn't say exactly which species of egrets these are, if little, intermediate or great. Maybe you can help!|
I'm quite surprised they're still here. I thought they flew away a month ago! I was happy to see them, but kind of sad to watch them leave.
As for the photo, I know the settings are off. The "choosen" F-Stop is the worst. The reason for this is that I didn't have the camera on me when I spotted the birds. So I had to dash into the office to get the camera and then back outside to snap the pic. Didn't have much time, and seeing that the image looks OK on the cam's display I just... shot away.
ISO 200 (could have been 100 easily)
F-STOP 5.6 (could have been somewhere between 8 and 16)
FOCAL LENGTH 135mm (x1.6 crop factor = 216mm)
SHUTTER SPD 1/500 (ok, but could have been 1/250 or longer if I had used the optimal F-STOP)
