Hi again, friends

Firstly, many thanks for all your kind words and comments on my previous post; i'm glad you liked it!

Secondly, i've just got back from another short outdoor trip with some friends and family, just in time to catch the races. I'm very happy that the great Biaggi had a terrific weekend and since he felt really good wining at Brno for the 10th time, i decided it was a good opportunity to show you a small slice of heaven :)

This is another photo from my previous trip (yes...we covered a lot of cool stuff in a day and a half...and i'm still not done yet :)) and what you see here is the entrance of the Poarta lui Ionele Cave from the Bihor Mountains. The cave itself isn't that spectacular, but the beautiful small waterfalls from the way up to is and the gorgeous vegetation really do look like a small Eden. The cave is found at an altitude of 894m, is made out of Triassic limestone and apparently holds some interesting cave-dwelling spiders - Nesticus spelaeus (i have no idea how they look...i will look for them next time).

Hope you'll like it and thanks for visiting :)

Hi Horia!

Ah, beautifull Bihor again! I definitely must return to this place some day. Waterfalls look superb taken with long exposure time. Almost tropical plants and rocks/trees full of moss make rain forest mood. Fantastic landsape my friend!

Salut din nou
Am vazut si imaginea asta pe site-ul tau.O vegetatie luxurianta, o cascada in trepte, parca perfect aranjata de mana omului. Insa toate astea undeva in munti, aranjate de mana naturii. Si redata de tine intr-un mod foarte placut. Excelent!
Toate cele bune

Hi Horia,
That is a great find of a beautiful rapid. I like the different layers and the many small streams. The two larger plants are perfectly positioned and give a sort of resting point in the composition. Do be careful with the lensdistortion of this lens. The water at the bottom right is affected by it.
TFS,
Niek

The world of Avatar comes to mind when I see this amzing shot. I think this image displays more waterfalls than any other image I've ever seen. Again spot on exposure. :)
