Hi again,

I'll be leaving in a couple of days again for another week long trip so i thought i'd share one more photo from the Retezat National Park with you.

This is the Bucura Lake found at 2040m altitude and with a surface of 8.9 hectares. The views from its banks should be more vibrant and vaster, but i'm afraid the weather took its toll again and covered the tops of the mountains around it.

Still, hope you'll like it and thanks for visiting :)

Hi Horia,
A beautiful landscape shot. Very well captured with lovely composition and very good view. Thanks a lot for sharing.

It was a pleasure to look at this beautiful view, never mind the the weather. It is always a pleasure to visit the places that you suggest us :)
A think I can see lot of interesting vegetable species in the scenary.
Hope you have a good time in your trip and bring a lot of "presents" like this back.
I am preparing for this fungi season, hope I can start making photos again.
Best regards and happy trip,
Felipe.

Hi Horia!

Yes, I like it, even very much. It's the kind of atmosphere I'm very fond of when I go to the mountains. Some clouds, a bit of fog and the mystic atmosphere is present. One of the superb mysteries of the mountains... and your picture reflects this very well!

Kind regards

Markus

Bonsoir Horia
Un paysage paisible, dans une ambiance brumeuse... voici une bonne idée, et un décors que l'on voit rarement dans le sud-est de la France.
Merci pour cette vue reposante
Amicalement
Laurent

Well done, Horia.
Beautiful landscape. I like the impact of the elements as it generates the atmosphere.
The depth of field gives you the necessary sharpness e.g. foreground-wise towards the flowers.
A lot of timelessness in your work probably once again partially due to the mist and weather and of course it's a pure nature shot so to speak.
Looking forward to see your next trip/expedition images.
Thanks for sharing.
Annick

Hi Horia, a beautiful image of this mountain lake, showing the alpine foliage nearby. Do you know what this plant is ?
Steve

Dear Horia,
"Smells" a bit like Scotland...

Same sort of atmosphere - same greens - same little lakes - same solitude...

A beautiful landscape of peace in the mountains with the clouds tumbling over the top of the mountains reaching down the slopes towards the water.

Thank you for showing the beauty of Retezat National Park!

I hope you have a good trip,
Best wishes
Ingrid

Absolutely beautiful. The low perspective on this really makes this even more exciting to view. Your exposure is spot on too. The sigma brand proves again the superb quality it produces. Well done Horia. :)
