Hi again friends :)

Just returned from a fantastic trip to Norway and i'm processing a lot of images from there, while making some changed to my website, too...it shouldn't take too long and i want to bring them forward together :)

Until then, here's another photo from my trip to the Retezat Mountains in Romania.
I really like the look of the river here and the way it seemed to come down some natural steps on its path. The thick mist i think added some atmosphere, but it was rather hard not to over-expose.

Hope you'll like it and thanks for visiting :)

Hello Horia,
Excellent photo in a nice atmosphere. Great choice of exposure, it gives a beautiful effect. Beautiful natural contrasting colours. Good DOF, composition and sharpness.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful :o) The DOF, the composition of the 'stepping stones' of white water that lead the eye down to the slight curve of the stream, which is perfectly placed on the left side of the screen - all beautiful!
The mist is great, adding a real feel to how the weather must have been when you took this. Good choice of grad too, as you say it is quite close to over exposing, but like the clever chap you are, you nailed it perfectly :o) The minimal colour palette of brown, green and grey adds alot also.
I am off to South West Ireland on Friday, but i look forward to seeing your Norwegian photos and what updates you are doing to your site!
super work my friend, hope you are well :o)

Hello Horia,
This could almost be Norway!
The mistiness and the rushing stream making the viewer feel that the humidity is transfered to him through the image. Superb composition and persective in an exposure that is just right.
Thanks my friend, and I look forward to seeing some of your visual Scandinavian experiences!
With kind regards,
Ivan

Hi Horia!

From my point of view and as far it's possible to get a real impression about pictures published on TN, I believe the picture is not overexposed. At least, it's not a disturbing element. I'd rather say that your image reflects the misty atmosphere at best, well underlined by the blurred water. The line of the river and the chosen point of view (looking upwards) invite to follow the watercourse to the source and to the light... I like it very much!

Kind regards

Markus

Hello Horia,
perfect romantic image that announces the arrival of autumn. Regards, Paolo

Simply superb!
Love the DOF you've achieved here, Bro.
This could be India, too!
;)
i love the way the trees and stones frame the river...
Very well done...
Cheers!
Goldy

Horia,
Great capture of a wonderful scene here. I love the appearance of the water flowing over the rocks and how the river seems to be flowing right through the bottom of the picture. Very well composed shot of this beautiful place. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Horia

Hi dear friend.
How could you find cloudy weather this summer? Or it was a haze? As usual a nice picture and excellent technique of shooting. POV is very attractive as well as composition of the shot. My kind regards and TFS.
Alexei.
