I also made a few night shots while up in the mountains :)
After some longer exposures towards the North star, i turned around to find the Milky Way nicely visible while the valley and mountains below were lit by the rising moon.
For this, i used my fastest lens - the Sigma 17-70mm with f/2.8 @ 17mm and an ISO of 3200 for 30 sec. I must say i really like my new camera - at high ISO it handles quite well (especially to what i was used to before) :)
