[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Continuing with my autumn theme I'd like to share yet another image from my spooky forest shoot in the Messes mountains of north-west Romania. The Messes mountain range forms part of the Transylvanian Plateau, sandwiched between the Eastern and Western Carpathian Mountains.

I don't find it spooky but moody; you used the colours and the mist very well.

Hi Steve and Ioana

I like your interpretation of autumn very much, although the picture appears a bit too dark on my screen as far as the forest in the foreground is concerned. But the composition and the colors are fine and the autumnla atmosphere is peaceful and pleasant.

Kind regards

Beautiful Autumn tones and wet misty look Steve. Very nice work..

Hello Steve and Ioana,
Many fine elements of autumn in this frame, I mention the coloured foliage, the fog and the carpet of leaves!
A well composed presentation with the contrasty tree trunks, a nice atmosphere!

Isn't it fun when your find yourself in a special place where you just know you'll get some great shots? It's like it is "feast or famine". I find nothing for weeks and then they'll be that magic outing. This is beautiful... up to the sky where it is overexposed. I probably would have cropped off the OE area since it is in the bottom half where the real beauty is. I love the composition you chose with that wonderful crooked tree against the autumn yellow. My eye goes there first and then back into the misty woods. I tried a workshop to see if I could even the exposure a bit. It was good practice... not sure how successful I was though.
