Nick..

Hello Horia,

You are very lovly today:) But I can see some mosses instead of Skull :) TFS friend! Well done!
Cheers,

Bayram

Hello Horia
I do indeed remember your previous post.
If I am totally honest I cant see to much..(certainly not what you did!!..that doesnt make you sick though..maybe you just need glasses!!)
But at a push..I would say a shot from a very high plane looking down on a land where there has been movement from the earth and trees growing amongst..
But another look I would say broccolli florets on I dont know what!!
a good Game Horia and I look forward to seeing what other make of it.
Paul

Hi Horia!

Sick? Hmm, no, I wouldn't say, maybe just a bit... crazy. But who of us here on TN isn't? Oh, I also believe this is a compliment: not crazy - normal - people are so boring, aren't they?

Now, dear Horia, I don't know if I will be able to sleep that night, now that I know what kind of horrible monsters and ghosts live in our trees, now that the childhood nightmares will come back... and I wanted to work in my garden tomorrow, climb up the trees and cut them to be ready for spring. Maybe I shouldn't...

:-)

Thanks for this beautiful, original and funny posting!

Kind regards

Markus

hmmmmmm ... I don't know. I think you may have been working too hard and not getting enough sleep. I only see tree and moss and lichen. It is a nice sharp tree with moss and lichen with good exposure and sharpness.

Hello Horia !
Another wonderful picture from you - unusual but realy wonderful ! I love the patterns made by the bark and by the moss, and the beautiful colors. There are also very nice details on the picture. As to explain what I see... to me it looks like some strange land seen from a plane, with green and yellow trees. You WS is quite creepy too. Very well done !
Valerie.

Horia, funny because I clearly see a donkey with a cat's tail... he's also got very long ears! Well, I didn't see what you did see at all but I have too much imagination I guess. I like this close-up of the bark showing all the details of the moss and lichens. I notice how close the diaphragm is and it gives great results, everything is sharp which is not that simple to do at such a close range. Thanks for the fun and thanks for the photo lesson!

Francine

Hello Horia,
Tried, even made the place dark...guess every person is seeing something else. I saw a big frog actually; but I'm quite convinced you are seeing something else.
Otherwise a good image.

Annick

hello horia,
beautiful capture, the natural colours and the textures look great here, liked the way you have composed this shot,
well done,
tfs & regards

Show off:-) You did it the way I might have had I decided to re-break my back by climbing over the snow piles...oh yeah and having a great camera and lens...I'll bet Ulla will REALLY like this one...she is lichen queen. Heck I would know nothing about the subject had it not been for her...and now you join the act with a great image!
Bob

Mmmm... well I do see something but I should not say it because it is rude, horrible and sick :-)
.... I see a crocodile head (Highlighted in workshop), and also like Francine said, I see a Donkey lurking amongst the lichen and moss :-D

No you are not sick, just very imaginative! ;-)

Great abstract image with great texture and detail.
Nice earthy colours.
Well done Horia :-)

Cheers,
Joe

Szia Horia!

You made a fantastic job again... most of all in seeing! You could be so good technically as you are but without your way of seeing it won't be this good. So be proud of your eyes! :)
TFS

Best regards,
Andor

Hi Horia,
its me, I know. I just can't see these things. I've had many people point out faces in clouds, but I just couldn't see them. Its the same here. I just see a great abstract photo of oak bark covered in moss and lichens. Maybe after I drink a few I might see the skull. Anway, the diagonal lines in this photo adds a lot to the abstract feel.
TFS,
niek

There is a nice diagonal flow to the shot.
Well focused with sharp details.

Horia,
It looks like when I am way up in the air looking down on earth, I see trees and forest and deep canyons. Oh my god, am I highed on drug? That's what it really is? You took this picture from an air plan. It's not really moss growing on tree bark. Thanks for making me think, now my head hurt. I have to take a rest. Good picture and fun game. Don't know what you're smoking but you are seeing things, but I like you and Thara too.

Hi Horia.
Bravo, very nice shot and creative approach. I am amazed with diagonal composition of the picture, fantastic rich and true colours of the shot and so impressive details/sharpness of the image. Refined work and skill use of equipment.
Yours Alexei.

Hello Horia,
I like the simplicity of the composition!
A creation like this will depend strongly on excellent texture and finer details, and I think you achieved both...
Good light makes the lichen colony stand out well, the bright green is well enhanced by the bark!
Greetings,
Pablo -
