Nice shot of these rare damselflies!
It must have been even rarer to see a mating pair!
All the Coenagrions look very similar so it must have been hard to I.D. this!
Great image quality.
Superb DOF and BG.

What no red?:-) It would the of course be RGB...but that matters about nothign except coincidence...I love the blue..It is among or close to my favorite blues...and it doesn't clash with green at all thanks to the black outlines...Very nicely done.

deja des demoiselles!!!c'est un peu tot dans la saison!je plaisante bien sur j'ai bien vu qu'il s'agit d'une archive.toujours est il que j'ai hate de voir les beaux jours arriver.
ici la composition est tres bien avec une bonne DOF,en etant decalé un peu sur le cote le POV aurait peut etre été meilleur,mais cela n'etait peut etre pas possible.

Very nice shot of these Ornate Bluets Horia. Excellent colour and detail, and the long portrait format suits your composition. Very effective use of your depth of field to focus in on the dragons and front plant, while muting out the background.

Hello Horia,
What an amzing and effective POV when taking a pair of damselflies in copulo!
You capture this pair of C. ornatum sharply and with good Dof and details and the composition against an OOF natural BG is great.
This rare species does not, of course, occur in Sweden unfortunately.

I've missed this excellent capture of this rare species of Damselfly. I like your POV and the sharp details. Natural colours too and a fine green background. Coenagrion are so difficult to identify so I nearly gave up last summer - perhaps I'll have another go when they appear again!!
