Hello Horia,
I'm still searching my archives too! We have gales now.
This is a nice one of P. nymphula in copulo, something I missed last year. I love the contrast of these against the green OOF natural Bg, which makes them show so well and they are presented with good sgharpness too.
Thanks for sharing this one my friend and have a good weekend,
Ivan

Hi Horia.
I am very pleased to stay next to your and other my dear friends on the same TN page. Great true Horia's picture of the cute pair of insects. As usual, brilliant reproduction of the damselflies and amazing BG. Bravo and my hearty greetings.
Yours Alexei.
P.S. I'll be back to your previous shot soon.

Hello Horia,
a nicely composed picture taken just from the right point of view.
The tandem spans nearly the entire diagonal.
Optimal colour contrast between the insects and the smooth green background.
Best wishes, Peter

Hi Horia,
a fine summer reminder of this nice picture of the breeding
dragonfly, it's only a few months away.
Well composed, good sharpness and DOF, the pair is well seen
against the BG.

good notes too.
Nick..
Hello Horia
I guess we are only 8-10 weeks away from this sort of activity being present again.
But that said this is a fine demonstration of the mating process..Perfectly sharp and a glorious BG to really highlight the subjects....I like the workshop which compliments the post perfectly showing another view of the subject.
(sorry I havent answered your asks on my pics but I have had a busy week taking my son to London every day where he has had some fantastic work experience days at 3 companies)
A good Sunday to you

We shall be getting many of these again and this year I shall try to think up some flavor of Bob style to add to the dragonflies..This year my legs are better and I think I know a place where these hang out!

Hi Horia,
I like the focus you made and the presentation. I think I would have tried to give a bit more saturation as the photo looks a bit flat.
What do you think? (or is it just due to the small screen I'm using at this moment)
Good observation and note.
Well done and TFS

Hello Horia. I always blame everything when I failed to capture damsels in their moments in good sharpness. These creatures are so small even to my naked eyes among the grass and weeds. I can tell from your collection, you are very talented in this department. Perfectly controlled aperture and focusing to achieve this flawless shot. The red damsels are so sharp and vivid in colors and contrasting well with the pleasant green background. I also like the way you have presented this in vertical format. Well done and have a nice day. Regards. Jusni

Ciao Horia,
bellissima foto di questa specie, molto attraente.
Mi piace molto anche l'immagine in Workshop.
In questa foto i due esemplari si possono osservare molto bene, grazie allo sfondo verde omogeneo.
Grazie,
Marcello

Haha! My face was going green (with envy) until I noticed this was taken in Summer last year :-)
Wow! Now what a shot this is!
You've chosen a parallel POV that's kept both the Damsels in perfect focus and you've composed it superbly!
Very good clarity which has conserved lots of detail and kept the photo crisp.
Vibrent colourd and great lighting.
Superb DOF that's blurred the BG very well.
Top-stuff Horia.
A great shot to prove our Powershots were still awesome cameras :-)
Cheers mate.

Horia,
I really like this two doing whatever they do. It look like an acrobatic performance to me, like in the circus. Great detail and the constrast of the color between the red and green are just perfect. Composition is good. I also really like the close up shot of it in workshop. It show all the little fuzzy hair on its neck and back. Don' make me choose one, because I would be torn.

Hi Horia,
A splendid capture my friend, those two lacey "damsels" in a love-play. You could finely squeeze both of them within the rather shallow DOF from your ideal POV, catching them in fine focus and detail.
TFS and cheers,
Mehmet

Hi Horia,
yet ANOTHER great shot from your archives. A very impressive balancing act between this pair, are you sure you haven't used a bit of glue??
An excellent DOF and POV against that green background has produced a very pleasing image, well done!

Hi Horia!
Our nature is full of secrets and suprises. Sometimes I wonder why we ignore so much of it. Maybe to give us the possibility to learn at every stage of our life and to keep being curious.
Your pictures help me for this. I always learn, I'm always curious about what you will show the next time and I'm often surprised as I am with this picture.
It's so delicate, so wonderful and surprising. I like it very much.
Kind regards
Markus

Hello Horia,
Lovely! Not long now and we'll see them again! Excellent view of these two with the female hanging in the air! It looks almost as if the straw is about to break off. Great focus, sharp details and I like the soft green background that makes them really stand out.
Many thanks and cheers, Ulla
