[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Whooper Swan (Cygnus cygnus) is a large Northern Hemisphere swan.
Whooper swans can migrate many hundreds of miles to their wintering sites in northern Europe and eastern Asia. They breed in subarctic Eurasia, further south than Bewicks in the taiga zone. They are rare breeders in northern Scotland, particularly in Orkney, and no more than five pairs have bred there in recent years. This bird is an occasional vagrant to western North America. Icelandic breeders overwinter in England and Ireland, especially in the wildfowl nature reserves of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds and of the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust.
It is a very rare bird in our region.

frumoasa captura Jozsef !

A beautiful pair with complimentary reflections Szabo, and a duckling in between as a bonus, the warm rays from a low sun illuminates the whole scene perfectly, a fine capture indeed my friend!

Hello Joszef !
This is a beautiful picture ! I like the lovely colors of this picture, and I also like the composition, with lots of space showing the natural environment where you found the swans. The reflections on the water are great too, as well as the little duck swimming in the other direction. Well done !

Hello Joska! Amazing family snapshot. Wonderful scene. Good composition. Very nice sharpness. Original take. Good luck!

Deci asa arata la Sinpaul ? ... chiar eram curios.
