[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Schizophyllum commune is the world's most widely distributed mushroom, occurring on every continent except Antarctica.[1] The gills, which produce basidiospores on their surface split when the mushroom dries out, earning this mushroom the common name Split Gill. It has more than 28,000 sexes.[1]

It is common in rotting wood, but can also cause disease in humans.[2]

Hello Szabo,
'The world's most widely distributed mushroom'? But it is new to me. Interesting species. Fantastic photo of this beauty in very beautiful light and colours. Great sharpness, details and composition. Good DOF.

Hi Szabo,

Friend, you´'re revealing us as a master of photographing and documenting this fungus.

I think the POV of view is great, same for the light to be accurate and very well maintained, allowing the details to assess effectively, without sacrificing any of the body's natural texture. My special congratulations to the level of focus and the magnificent rise.

Greetings, good job!
