MAP BUTTERFLY (summer broods)

The map (Araschnia levana) is a butterfly of the Nymphalidae family. It is common throughout the lowlands of central and eastern Europe, and is expanding its range in Western Europe.

The map is unusual in that its two annual broods look very different. The summer brood are black with white markings, looking like a miniature version of the white admiral and lacking most of the orange of the pictured spring brood.

A double subject capture of immense brilliance, Marius. Both of them are in perfect focus.
Besides, it's a wonderful composition with all the flowers within the frame contributing to its appeal.
Thanks and regards.

Hello Marius,
How pretty to see both butterflies perfectly framed and in such sharp focus. The wing markings and colors are so beautiful and I love the angle each butterfly is facing. The exposure is great on both dark and light objects. So bright and crisp...sort of puts you in a pleasant mood:)

Hello Marius,
Like the way took this photograph from far :-)
Otherwise you couldn't get such good sharpness/equal focus on two butterflies. Excellent color and details. Eye catching composition too.
Thanks for sharing with useful NOTE,

Srikumar
