I'm not an expert in bugs and don't know anything about this one. But it looks very interesting with 'like plastic' wings. I had problems to take this shot - it was so quick.

Wow, that's an amazing looking bug. Are you sure you didn't paint those wings? Just kidding. :) Excellent sharpness and exposure. The bright spots on the flower petals and in the BG are a little distracting but it's a minor problem. I'm just amazed at the color of the wings. Nice photo. TFS!

Hi Snezana,
A very interesting BUg. I havn't seen one posted on TN before. Well done for doing something different.
Keep it up with the bugs.

Hi, it is the Carpenter Bee (Xylocopa violacea). I commented pictures of these bees several time lately. See:

Carpenter Bee

Anyway, a very nice picture - just some unnecessary blinks... Good work. TFS!

Such a beauty!
I taked some photos of this insect too this weekend, but they didn't get right.
The reflex of the sunlight gives it this "metalic" blue color on the wings.
Very good job!

Very difficult to catch this insect because he his always moving. So good job you have done, excellent sharpness et beautiful colours.

Excellent exposure. I suspect its one of the carpenter bees. Good sharpness and great POV.
