Hello Chris,
I love spotting this beautiful green butterfly in the early summer when it's fresh. But I find it hard to photograph.
You've done very well here: I like its pose on the yellow flowers showing sharp details and fine natural colour. Beuatiful composition too.

Don't think I've seen this species on TN before. I don't thjink there are too many green butterflies, its quite attractive. Good capture.

Wow! I've never seen a green butterfly! I assume the green color is just an iridescence visible when the light falls under a certain angle! Very beautiful!
The composition is very good. I like the way you avoided the boring middle by placing the vertical plant slightly to the left. This also allowed for a larger empty space in front of the butterfly. The colors look natural and the darker outline on the butterfly's wings creates the necessary contrast to make the green subject stand out from the green background. The very good exposure preserved excellent details in the subject. Very well done! TFS!

This is a wonderful butterfly ! I love it green metallic color, and his pose is beautiful too, with the head down. Excellent etails, beautiful composition and a wonderful blurred BG which makes the insect stand out nicely. Very well done !
