[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken on Thursday 15th of August, in Julian Alps. It's located in Slovenia.
This is a part of path leading to Triglav (Kozja dnina)
About our trek.
We left Krakow (Poland) at 1.30 on Thursday. We reached Aljazev Dom (1002m) in Vrata Valley in Slovenia about 12.30. Then we started our trek. About 18.30 we reached Triglavski Dom na Kredarici (2515) where we have slept. On Friday we woke up at 5.00, and after six we started to attack our goal summit of Triglav (2864m). We reached it after about 1,5 hours. Then we went down do the valley and started at 18.30 our way back to Poland. We reached Krakow about 3.30 on Saturday.
Incredible experience. Beautiful Julian Alps and national mountain of Slovenia - Triglav!!
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:
The Julian Alps (Slovene: Julijske Alpe, Italian: Alpi Giulie) are a mountain range of the Southern Limestone Alps that stretches from northeastern Italy to Slovenia, where they rise to 2,864 m at Mount Triglav. They are named after Julius Caesar, who founded the municipium of Cividale del Friuli at the foot of the mountains. A large part of the Julian Alps is included in Triglav National Park.
Triglav (German: Terglau, Italian: Tricorno) is with its elevation of 2,864 metres (9,396 ft) the highest mountain in Slovenia and the highest peak of the Julian Alps. The mountain is the preeminent symbol of the Slovene nation. It is the centerpiece of Triglav National Park, Slovenia's only national park.

Hello Maciej,
A particularly dangerous area, I'd say that can be traveled only by experienced mountaineers. Good details as usual.
Thanks for sharing!

Hello Maciek,
Beautiful view on this impressive and frightening path. Great DOF and good sharpness in nice natural colours. I'm glad I wasn't there.

Hello Maciej,
照的清晰 山景很漂亮 我一直想不通
你站在那個踩腳的位置照相 因為這個角度很困難
眼前的腳下懸崖和更底下的樹林 強烈的遠近對比
照的很美 經典作品

Hello Maciek

The landscape, with the dominating POV on the scenery,
the way it is framed give perspective effect,
all they give great dynamism to the image, TFS

Hello Maciek,
I have to admit just looking at this narrow path up so high and close to the rim gives me the jitters. I have been to our Grand Canyon many times, but I don't like going too close to the edge of the rim.
I'm definitely glad that it doesn't bother you, because otherwise we wouldn't get to view these wonderful images.
