What an interesting picture of nature at work..I have never seen a picture like this!!
Good work of flash illuminating the scene nicely...the focus is a little soft in places.

Excellent shot, it is rather difficult to find such a scene in nature, but... there is no information of "dramatis personae", I mean the name of this black snail and the fungus name? Please, give a piece of information in the future!

Mushrooms and slugs, yes they get along very well.
I'll try to help you with some ID: The mushroom looks very similar to Tricholomopsis rutilans and the slug could be a darker form of Limax cinereo-niger.
