This nice beetle of paws, head and black body with bluish iridescence, presents the elytra of an alive red color, with three transverse black bands of irregular outline: the first one of them draws one more or less clear "Vth", and the third band does not reach the end of the elytra. Also it shows a thin black line in the internal rims of the elytra. The pronoto is elongated. It overcomes the centimeter and a half of corporal length.
